I have an awful feeling that I might have shot myself in the foot at work.  I've been pressing and pressing for an additional member of staff in my department and I have finally got the go ahead... recruitment has started and hopefully I will be interviewing people this time next week.

Have I done myself out of a pay rise though? I'm a little concerned that I might have....

Someone gave me this a few weeks ago and as yet I haven’t touched it.  I picked it up today to try to figure out where to start.

Firstly the bigger lens doesn’t even fit the body.

Secondly… when I look through the view finder I can’t see anything (and yes.. the lens cap was off).

Short of throwing a film into this and just pressing the button I don’t know what else to do. If I can’t see anything through the viewfinder I can’t focus and thus all the pictures will be off.. so whats the point?

Can anyone offer any help… or can I send it to someone who would give it a good home and some tlc?

The last three nights, I’ve tried sleeping backwards in my bed.  I put my head where my feet usually go, and my feet where my head normally is.  It seems like it wouldn’t change anything, but every morning for the last three days I’ve woken up in hysterics, wondering where I am.  Anyway, it’s something fun to try.

I sometimes do this when I can’t sleep and I actually sleep better. Must be psychological.

Some nights… when it’s a full moon and the sky is really bright and pretty… I keep my curtains open and sleep the wrong way up in bed… with my head to the window so I can see the bright sky.  I sleep well… but it really confuses the cat…
