So... just how annoying is it when you paint a whole wall... knowing you are coming to the end of your paint pot.. knowing there are only inches to go... and ya run out of paint....

Ferrari and Schumacher continue their quiet re-awakening... yesterday Schumy beat Ayrton Senna's pole position record... having now claimed 66 Pole Positions in his F1 career.  Its weird watching the build up to the race knowing full well that Senna had his fateful accident at Imola.  I recall watching the race and seeing the moment of impact knowing full well it was a serious accident.  Our trust in the safety devices in the cars back then was misguided... we felt... wrongly.. that these guys were unbreakable.  Sadly they weren't....

On a lighter note it is reported over at The Gravel Trap that the Button Man is under a royal warrant to win this weekend.. and if he doesn't he will kiss his OBE goodbye.. and take a trip to the Tower of London.. (dammit.. couldn't they have done this last week when I was there???)

*edits* best bit of the whole Button pit lane cock-up was the "lollipop" man screwing up... took on even larger fun proportions when the Two B's (Brundle and Blundel) both said during the race that they need to find a more professional way of describing the lollipop guy.. and then Jensen used the terms a shit load of times in post race interviews... I guess it may be too uncool for the ITV commentary team... but not the drivers....  Oh yeah... anyone else sat there with bated breath watching and praying Jensons car didn't go up in flames after seeing all the fuel spraying out when the hose got ripped off...  I was one for sure.... especially after seeing how competent the ONE fire marshall looked who ran to his car... well.. then again... ran is't quite the right term to use...
