via FFFFOUND I have the oddest feeling this is what my new desk is going to look like when I arrive at it on Thursday of next week. New desk… new position (Archivist)… new office… (with a window!!!!! go me!!!!!!!!!!)… new challenges…. Bring it on!!!! I have to travel to one of our other offices for the first few days of next week for training…. the plan being that I will get uninterrupted one on one training in relation to new software that I will be using…. I think three days is slightly over stretching it really… I’m pc savvy and pick things up very very quickly so I’m hoping I’ll be out of there in no more than two days…. I just want to get on with the damn job and… whilst I appreciate that I have to earn things to ensure I can do my new job properly and to the best of my ability… if the training is anything like the induction training that I received when the companies merged a few months ago my eyes and ears are going to be bleeding by the end of the first day!!!! Looking forward to the train journey though…. |
